Who publishes Kalima

These terms cover your use of the Kalima app and this website, published by Joao Vitor Humenhuk Achutti, the sole trader named above. Apple's Standard EULA also applies to the app.

Using Kalima

Kalima is an iPhone app that teaches one word of spoken Levantine Arabic a day.

Use it lawfully and only add content you have the right to use.

Free and paid use

One new word every day, the whole alphabet, widgets and the last 7 days of words. Kalima Premium is available as a yearly subscription, a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The App Store shows the price before you buy, and Apple handles payment.

Subscriptions

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.

Your content

What you put into Kalima is yours. The publisher claims no rights over it. The privacy policy explains where it is stored.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, and Apple handles refunds under the App Store's terms. Write to kalima@humenhuk.com if something has gone wrong and we will help where we can.

Liability

Kalima is provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, liability is limited to the amount you have paid for Kalima in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory protections where you live.

Changes

Material changes will be dated here and will respect purchases you have already made.
